On November 5th 2007 Burial's Untrue was released. Seen my some as the formative release of the era - His ability to take sampled sounds and arrange them in such a methodic way provided the background music for a generation looking to find ourselves within our own electronic worlds.

Marshall McLuhan on the other hand was a Canadian philosopher from the late 60s and early 70s. Coning the expression "The medium is the message" and the term "global village". He predicted the electronic world 30 years before it would become a reality. This sparked new interests into the thoughts and words of a man who though far ahead of his reality.
